Client Focus: The Big Picture
With every project, the devil—and the beauty—is in the details. And there’s no one better to keep track of them than Adie. She runs projects with both a laser-like focus and a big-picture perspective, making her a favorite of clients like Hewlett-Packard, Mountain Health CO-OP, and the City of Boise. She has a sixth sense for looming deadlines and spends our clients’ budgets as carefully as her own. And she bakes. Did we mention that?
What was the first concert you ever attended?
Third Eye Blind and EVE 6 in eighth grade.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
Traveling! My husband and I love exploring new places. Recent trips include New Orleans, Washington D.C., New York, Vermont, Carmel, Montreal, and Alaska. Plus, a bonus trip to the Dominican Republic with my colleagues. But I have to admit, it’s always nice to come home to Boise.
What is one fact about you that people find surprising?
I am absolutely terrified of needles. People think I’m joking when I say that but last time I had to get blood drawn there was full-on ugly crying involved.
What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
Either a high school band teacher or a meteorologist. Never say never…
What do you like about working at Oliver Russell?
I get paid to work with very talented people that I love, for clients who truly want to make this world a better place. I consider myself very lucky.
Change can be hard. How do you make it easier?
I’ve learned to embrace it. You just have to take a deep breath and step outside your comfort zone. That’s where personal growth begins.
What would you eat for your final meal?
A really good grilled cheese sandwich. And a maple bar. #sorrynotsorry
Do you have pets?
We have a tuxedo cat named Walter. He’s wild and kind of a bully. But I love him.
